A brand-new laptop for work from home

I have to buy a new laptop for my home-based business. Word, Excel, and the web browser account for about full of its usage, therefore nothing complex.

My old laptop, an HP with a Ryzen 5 and 8GB RAM that I bought about 5 years ago, has served me well.

If there is a difference, the one upgrade(s) with better speakers or a camera would be something I would be interested in.

Is there a good reason to think of something stronger or faster? Are there any new laptop features that I might not be aware of but that would be worthwhile to take into account for this kind of use?

Why are you upgrading if it has been quite sufficient

because I don’t need to buy my teenage kid a new laptop I can just give him the old one.

How much money do you have?

My budget is less than $1500.However, if you tell me it will last twice as long for an additional $200, okay.

However, I don’t place a lot of importance on features. Quality and dependability are the most crucial factors.

I recommend this laptop:

MSI 16.0" Laptop - Intel Core Ultra 7, 32GB RAM, Intel Arc Graphics, 1TB SSD

It offers a powerful Intel Core Ultra 7-155H processor, 32GB of RAM for smooth multitasking, Intel Arc Graphics for solid performance, and a 1TB SSD for ample storage. Ideal for demanding tasks and gaming, this laptop strikes a good balance between performance and storage.

That would depend on your spending plan. However, if you value speakers and a camera, a MacBook is the better option. Additionally, the latest Snapdragon laptops have excellent image processing.
