I noticed some lines on my laptop screen. Any advice on how to fix this?
It looks like your screen is damaged. You might need to replace it.

Oh no!

What could have caused this? I didn’t drop my laptop or anything.

It could be from pressure on the screen or just general ageing of the display.

So, I need to replace the screen? Is there no other way to fix it?

Unfortunately, it’s physical damage to the panel. To fix it, you would need specific equipment which is very expensive. It’s cheaper to replace the panel.
Do you have a dedicated GPU? Sometimes, the GPU failing can cause these issues. Try connecting your laptop to an external display to see if the problem persists.

I’m not sure if my laptop has a dedicated GPU. I don’t have an external display or much technical skill to figure this out on my own.
If the lines are horizontal, it could be a common LCD issue, which might be covered by warranty. If it’s out of warranty, you could still contact customer support and see if they can offer a repair.
