You can’t, Those are the microdents made by the dirt in the keyboard when it’s closed. Only way to get rid is replacing it. Well those won’t bother you when it’s On but still it bother you when it’s off or any black frame appears to movies
@Devlin
Yep. Its’ the reason I kept the cloth pad that came with the unit. I put it back on the keyboard when closing the lid. It’s not foolproof but I’ve not had it happen (again) to me since I started.
@Neve
Yes that’s good, even i had it for 6 months and then i threw away being lazy and it’s costs me
@Devlin
Thanks:dancer:
Also, don’t pack your backpack/bag so full of stuff that it squeezes the laptop. That happens to my laptops because I do that with my bags
@Devlin
Are most thinkpads like this? I’m getting one soon, should I paste some rubber pads to prevent this?

That may be, i have cleaned the screen already with distiled water on micro cloth, but those marks wouldent come of
My beautiful Dell became a victim and there’s no way back, it’s permanent
You can’t it’s worn the screen down from the keyboard when closed and rattling around in a bag.

Agh sucks, not really visable when its on but stil anoying
Slightly damp, lukewarm soft cloth. You may also include some light soap like facewash, but very diluted. Slightly damp means that it is not running water or even dripping water. This is usually dust that came from your keyboard combined with oil from the keys. It can go away with some gentle soft effort with a clean Wettex or chamois or cloth for cleaning specs.
try putting a screen protector. it hides micro scratches, may be useful for this too. im not sure tho
Could just be dirt or oil marks. Use a slightly damp cloth or screen cleaner and gently wipe the screen. If it doesn’t help then its just damaged from the keys rubbing
There a way… but it involves windshield repair kit and rubbing alcohol… with the cleanest surface possible… just have to get crafty, Some Say Vaseline can work wonders, but I suggest windshield repair kit.
@Ripley
If you grabbing the running alcohol get 50-70 percent the 90 percent will damage the screen
That’s the neat part, you don’t
