Lukewarm damp microfiber cloth, like the one you use for prescription glasses. Wax on, wax off.

You might need to use an actual screen cleaning product if just water and a microfiber cloth isn’t doing it.

If you have an anti-glare coating, alcohol could potentially damage it. If you don’t want to buy a screen cleaning kit just use a lens cleaning cloth for glasses or camera lenses and a small amount of water. You want enough water to wipe stuff off. If it drips, you’ve used too much. That could get into the laptop and damage the components. Don’t apply too much force when wiping the screen because dust and debris will scratch your screen that way. That being said, I have a touchscreen Galaxy Book and just spray it with my glasses cleaner and wipe the living $#!@ out of it. Screen looks brand new. Your mileage may vary. Lol.
Get a microfiber cloth and only use it to clean screens and nothing else. That’s effectively all you need really. You can make it a little bit wet (really just a tiny bit so it would never drip) to really get the rougher spots. Anything you can clean with that most likely isn’t even just dirt but may be damage to the screen…
Just keep it in the shade.

I usually use a damp (not slightly, but not fully wet) paper towel, with bottled or filtered water, and scrub the harder spots then IMMEDIATELY go over it with 2 more dry paper towels. Repeat once to get any smudges and smears out, and it’s very very clean. I do this on my laptop screens and my monitor. Edit: when I say a paper towel I usually mean 2-3 folded into 1. When I say 2 dry paper towels I mean do that method 2 times with paper towels folded. Another Edit: you can use any cloth or towel but a microfiber one works better.
