If I plug in an HDMI adapter into the laptop with the Type-C/USB part and plug in the HDMI from the Xbox to the adapter, would it stream the gameplay to the laptop screen?
You’d need a USB capture card.
Also, this wouldn’t be great for gaming.

Thanks for the response, but is there a way to do that and be great for gaming? I can’t stream it wirelessly because I have insane latency, and I can’t use wired internet because I’m far away.
@Eliot
Get a monitor or TV instead.

I have a TV, but I have to look upwards, and it starts to get uncomfortable after some time. Thanks a lot for the help.
@Eliot
You can get decently cheap capture cards meant for cameras.
I think Razer sells one, and other than that, you need OBS to show the image on your laptop.

Do I get any latency or screen deformations?
@Eliot
Screen deformations no unless you weirdly stretch it, latency is minimal.
I use a much more expensive capture card on my system.

Alright, mate, thanks for the advice.
