Is this laptop a good choice for my boyfriend who needs it for work

I would advise against this choice. It’s best to opt for a well-known brand that offers reliable service and support. YOGA is a Lenovo trademark, not related to the product pictured. For a dependable business laptop, you need a model with guaranteed build quality and not a look-alike with questionable specs. Aim for a minimum of an i5 or Ultra 5 CPU and a standard keyboard setup. Avoid falling for gimmicky features.

Thanks for the input! I’m new to this and just want to make sure I get something reliable. It’s a bit overwhelming trying to pick the right one.

You could try this one. I upgraded mine with this and it’s much faster now. I don’t know too much about computers, but this worked for me.

It’s rare to see recommendations for an ultra CPU these days. Hopefully, Intel can turn things around with their new offerings.

True, if you’re considering Intel, the 125U can be a good choice compared to 12th or 13th gen i5s. However, AMD might offer better value and battery efficiency.

I would avoid laptops with Celeron processors for any serious work use.

That model is practically electronic waste at this point.

I strongly advise against buying laptops with Celeron or Athlon processors for any professional use.

Here’s another option you might find interesting.

For business use, I’d recommend looking into the ThinkPad X60. It’s durable and performs well for professional tasks.

ThinkPads are indeed solid choices. They’re known for their durability and repairability, which makes them last longer than many other laptops.

If you’re considering new options, the MSI Prestige and Asus ExpertBook P5 are both excellent. They have robust features and have undergone extensive durability testing.
