$380 is a little much for an older laptop like this.
That was a pretty expensive laptop when it was new in 2018, maybe as much as $1500.

I agree but it’s the best “Alienware” laptop I could get on eBay for $379

You play Roblox right? Any other games?
If you only Roblox, you won’t need an gtx 1070 or an gaming laptop.
@Rin
The only other game I play is Wuthering waves

You’re going to pay extra for the name alone. Try finding a good Acer.
@Rory
Acer gaming laptops suck ass they have various issues

Dude you have no idea what you’re talking about. I’ve had an Acer Chromebook that was $180 brand new in 2014 and it got me through all of college just perfectly and is still chugging today. I picked up an Acer Nitro two years ago with a 3070 super and the thing CHUGS. Acer makes great stuff in my experience and is well worth the price.
@Rory
Congrats bro not everyone gets the same experience you have with Acer

That’s completely fair, and when I was looking at reviews before buying Nitro I did note that some people had some issues. But a lot of people liked their Acer, so I went with the Nirto and its been great. But just blanket stating they “suck ass” without providing any real reason as to why is not a great way to get your point across. Reviews come from personal experiences, and I was just providing mine for context.
@Rory
no
The Alienware name isn’t even that reputable that you’d buy such an old laptop used. This isn’t a great deal. Black Friday is going on, get yourself a new laptop. If you can stretch your budget to 450 you can get an HP Victus at Best Buy.
@Charlie
Budget is $400
@Charlie
yeah your right besides HP victus laptops are decent(but the hinges though)

The desktops aren’t

If ThinkPad not have issues with multiple key registring would get one for that useCase.
First off, your budget of $400 is severely limiting you to very old hardware and/or crap brand names. Your budget will not get you a laptop suitable for gaming and there is absolutely nothing that old Alienware that would make it worth buying.
@Charlie
Fair point I’ll take the advice
If you want a good laptop at 400 for gaming buy a used gaming laptop or save up more. At this price you won’t get much more than a 1650 or 1660 Ti GPU.

If I go up to 450-500 would that give me a decent laptop? Which one do you suggest?
