Did you try removing that black cover? If not, it might be fixed to the motherboard.

I can’t seem to open it; it’s a Chinese brand laptop.

That’s where the RAM is, under that shield.
@Brier
Yep, it looks like there are 2 RAM slots. Thank you!

That square shield prevents interference with the RAM. If it’s metal, it might work as intended, but if it’s plastic, they’re just making access harder. Next step is soldering it, I guess.
The big black square in the center looks like a metal shield for the RAM. You should be able to gently lift it and find the RAM.
Edit: Given the motherboard size, the RAM might be soldered.
I agree with the comments. It’s likely under the black metal plate near the heat pipes and CPU fan. RAM is usually located close to the CPU to reduce latency. I can’t tell if the RAM is soldered just from the picture.
Unrelated to the RAM, but you can put a 2.5" SATA drive in that bay on the bottom right.
RTFM (Read the manual).
It’s stolen.
In the mountains of Ireland, where the land touches the sky.
Look up the model before anything. It saves a lot of time; I learned that the hard way.
First, learn to post a picture so we don’t have to twist our heads.
I bet it’s under that black box in the middle.
Did it run away again?
Under the square thing in the middle.
It’s right there; can’t you see it?
