Which Device Is Better for Work and Study

I had that HP model, and it was amazing.

Make sure to get at least 16GB of RAM.

I recommend the Intel EVO since it focuses on battery performance.

I’m referring to the Microsoft Surface Laptop.

Both models are not ideal in 2024. But the Surface is more premium than the HP Pavilion, which is one of the cheaper HP lines. Your question is also quite vague. Work and study can mean anything from answering emails to graphics design. Is there a specific reason you want a 2-in-1 or tablet-style device?

@Dru
The reason I bought the Microsoft Surface was the 40% discount that ended yesterday. But I was initially planning on getting the HP because the prices were similar after the discount.

Don’t get the Pavilion. I owned one, and it only worked properly for about a month. HP’s quality has been very low; my Pavilion’s touchpad, touchscreen, fan, and battery all broke down quickly. It also doesn’t charge half the time.

In 2024, 8GB of RAM is not enough. I never buy a laptop that can’t be upgraded to at least 32GB. 16GB is the minimum if you don’t do any intensive tasks.

Consider a laptop with a Core 2 Duo processor.

Thank you very much for your ideas. I decided to pick the Microsoft Surface Pro 9.

I would go with the HP.

HP stands for hinge problems :slightly_smiling_face:

Please don’t buy the 13th generation processor; many people have reported problems with them.
