I have gotten keyboard prints on my laptop screen, it is the asus tuf f15 and I even wiped with a micro fiber towel and it still did not come off, what should I do?

This is the way
if it really bothers you, you could get a screen protector. The scratched parts will likely not be visible anymore. Although, I suspect you don’t really need to because the marks are probably not that visible during use
@Kai
lol
That’s the neat part, you don’t

Exactly lmao
Unfortunately it is permanent. Won’t remove as the dust has stayed on over time and the outer layer is slightly damaged.
You can prevent further damage by placing a thin microfiber cloth over the keyboard, and it will prevent contact to the screen.
@Reece
I use a couple of microfiber cloths for mine and it does wonders. Just wish I did it before my screen was damaged
@Reece
Can’t polish? With a very fine grain/paste?

No. You would need to sand while it’s wet with extremely fine grit, likely above 8000 or so, for an eternity. Plus, being wet means that it would seep into the screen and ruin it.
In short: no.
do you have a star in your room?
On my next laptop, I’ll put a cozy soft cloth piece between the screen and keyboard. Tho mine is fine.

Get a laptop with a glass layered screen.
It’s physical damage to the soft coatings on the screen. You can’t get rid of them, can’t polish them out, and any attempt to do so will make things much worse.
You can try cleaning it with IPA. As others have said it could be permanent, I’ve been able to remove them usually.
isoporyl alcohol and avoid pressure maybe

Don’t use alcohol on screens! Isopropyl alcohol will further damage the screen coatings

It wont damage the screen. But it wont fix this issue either.
Most used laptops we gets where I work have em’. Cause by time and pression, overtime you’ll just get the forbidden keyboard mark, only solution is to change it or hope it’s not visible turned on.
