@Ainsley
It certainly wasn’t sealed shut from the factory. I also said it could decrease performance, not that it will.
Could you post another picture under the hood also?
Where did you put the extra heatsink instead (empty HDD section, additional RAM section etc…)?
Try using a laptop fan thing.
average HP user.
Poor keyboard mouse chassis…
3D print a mesh and cover it :3.
LMAO! Well done!
It looks terrible…but I love it. Performance over form.
Well fuck me… sucks you didn’t use a hole cutter drill bit the same diameter +2mm of the fan then add a grill over it… but well done!
I’m assuming you’re proud about it, were you hoping we’d be too?
I cringed. Lol.
Wtf.
Instead of the fan you could have put a cup with holes in it connected to the heat pipe and poured liquid nitrogen at intervals.
That’s awful.
Toys is crazy and reminds me of some shit I once did.
Nice!
Did you record any performance metrics before and after?

haha yes I did, and it barely made 3 fps more because I didn’t overclock it and to be honest overclocking a puny ryzen 3 3000 is kinda funny.
I would do a cleaner job, like installing an ice cube without cutting any holes. When it melts…eBay it.
laptop gamers will do anything to avoid buying a desktop.
Let me guess, “I’m An ENgIneEr” .

How can someone be so exaggerated for a DIY project?
