Would you still purchase an Intel laptop in light of all the semi-recent issues with Intel CPUs (which are purportedly exclusive to desktop and server computers)? I want to get something better than my MSI Summit 16 flip. It is been fantastic, but for some reason Msi chose to use metal for the entire chassis, including the bottom plate—with the exception of the molded plastic edge. It has numerous cracks and is where the screws that attach the base to the main chassis go. I would love to go to AMD because I have a certain set of features, but I can not seem to find anything that fits in the 15–16 class. reasonably robust (all metal would be ideal) complete Linux compatibility, numpad-specific graphics (more oriented toward computation than gameplay),
USB4/Thunderbolt to enable an eGPU, a respectable lifespan of the battery, and a 16:10 screen with a greater resolution (2k or above, preferably). 64GB+ DDR5 compatible memory Though it looks to be going through some growing pains, I have given the framework 16 some thought and do not really like it.

Not unless it was the 200, 100, or 7 series Core Ultra.
