I’m a big Lenovo guy for sure. They seem like they’re looking at 2 in 1s. When I was looking, the Lenovo 2 in 1s had soldered RAM. I don’t like soldered RAM.

I was also skeptical, but the Lunar Lake processors actually seem like they have pretty comparable iGPUs. The arc 140V beats the 890M in several games at 1080p.

You know I was skeptical but did some digging, the latest from Intel and AMD are actually very close in iGPUs. If you get a Lunar Lake or Strix Point processor, they should be comparable. If you’re looking at Hawk Point and Meteor Lake or older, the AMD iGPU will be more powerful.
It’s great to see Intel’s work on Battlemage bleeding over to make their iGPUs competitive!

I work on HP laptops pretty often. They are very terribly designed and have a lot of problems that shouldn’t even be problems. They also are super anti-consumer with their repair process, hiding screws under rubber feet that won’t go back on after, under stickers that have to do with the device information, very easily stripped screws, ect. They just aren’t good. I’ve owned a couple as well.
