Hello everyone, my laptop screen developed an odd frame all of a sudden. Only when the laptop is turned on… Please assist
This peculiar problem typically arises when a laptop is continuously placed in “hibernate” or “sleep” mode without ever being completely shut down. Unbelievably, turning off the laptop and leaving it alone for a bit fixes the problem in every instance I have witnessed. I wish I understood the specifics of what was happening to trigger this. You may discover numerous instances of the problem, spanning several laptop manufacturers and models, if you Google “White ring around laptop screen when on.” The issue appears nearly exactly as you have depicted it in your photos.
I neglected to mention that it could be worthwhile to examine the equipment if you have any warranty coverage. The problem will undoubtedly recur, but it should finally go away on its own.
That’s one dazzling Pokemon, hehe
I experienced something similar recently with my 27" Asus monitor. The issue disappeared after the monitor had been on for about an hour. It seems to happen with other monitors and laptop LCDs as well, but there’s no clear explanation for it. In most cases, it goes away after the screen has warmed up. I haven’t seen it happen again since that day, which makes it even more puzzling.
